“Fantasy Island” ran from 1977 to 1984 on ABC-TV.
The concept started as two made-for-television films that aired in 1977. Ricardo Montalbán played Mr. Roarke, who ran an island in the Pacific where people could visit and live out their fantasies. Hervé Villechaize played Roarke’s sidekick, Tattoo.
A 1998 revival starring Malcolm McDowell lasted 13 episodes on ABC.

“Happy Days” ran from 1974-1984 on ABC. The sitcom was one of the highest-rated TV shows of the 1970s. It went into syndication in fall 1979 and has remained in syndication since.
