“The show resurfaced as Match Game ‘73, and this version had a somewhat racier flavor. Gene Rayburn would read the questions, everyone would write down their responses, then reveal them in turn. Harmless enough in theory; however, giving six flaky show-folk a stack of blank cards and marking pens is a tantamount to handing finger-paints to a troupe of chimpanzees.
