#LandOfTheLost family portrait – prelim sketch for an upcoming benefit gallery show.
Come to The Peculiarium in PDX on Feb 15th at 6pm and help our buddy Jon David Buffam pay off his medical bills from a recent heart attack. There will be a ton of great artists showing, more info in the coming weeks
I originally saw this great Land of the Lost sketch (by Christopher J. Purdin) a while ago, but I waited to include these progress images and the finished piece. So awesome.
I was scrolling through my Land of the Lost photos (as one is often want to do…) when I noticed that all three season covers have the logo for the show essentially locked in the same place. That inspired this gif.
Here are the Land of the Lost action figures you
never got.
Buried in the pages of the 1976 LJN catalog, these
“Sound N Action” figures are very similar to the Mattel Heroes in Action (of
which LJN was knocking off that year) in that the figures are attached to a
base.
As cool and mind-blowing as this is, I’m a bit upset that
these never got made.
