Felix Leyendecker cover illustration for Life magazine (Feb 1922),
featuring a “Flapper”. The term was used to describe young, independent
women—women who “flapped” their wings. They smoked, drank, drove cars,
and were casual about sex; Betty Boop was one, for example.

In the Three’s Company episode, “Three’s Christmas” (aired December 20, 1977), Chrissy revealed her full name was “Christmas Noelle Snow”.
